Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a good pattern for beginners?
Yes! With large-scale blocks and no intersecting seams, Craftsman is a great pattern for beginners.
Can I use a Layer Cake?
Not really. 10" Layer Cake squares work for the smaller rectangles, but they're too small for the large rectangles.
Can you resize this pattern for me?
I'm sorry, I'm not able to offer custom sizes for Craftsman. The scale of the blocks and rows makes it a tricky one to resize. But you're absolutely welcome to give it a try on your own! I recommend sketching your layout out on graph paper first so you can plan your blocks, rows, and borders before you start cutting.
